Education in the Antelope Valley

Antelope Valley schools are on the leading edge of change.

In order to establish more rigorous accountability procedures, Antelope Valley schools have launched a new system to ensure that acceptable standards of suitable performance are met. Ten school districts govern 88 schools in the Antelope Valley. In addition, there are 12 private schools.

You will find a variety of day care centers offering various pre-school curricula including: music, crafts, motor and social skills training. Your child will receive nutritious meals, snacks, naps playtime and toilet training.

If students need business or vocational training, those opportunities are present in Antelope Valley schools. At the high school level there are special training facilities in the areas of computers, health and electronics. At Antelope Valley College you will find business and vocational offerings as diverse as those to be found at a four-year institution.
